Gas Leak Calc calculates natural gas leak rates from oil and gas industry equipment. It is assumed that the pressure difference across the leak-point (hole) is large enough to cause critical flow across the leak-point. Flowrate is calculated based on restriction orifice correlations, i.e., sonic velocity exists at the hole orifice and further decrease in the upstream and downstream pressures remain constant. Includes table of expected fugitive emission rates from equipment.
